Thanks for any help. I want to insert an iframe and I believe I did but it doesn't show up unless I preview the page so I have no way to edit it etc, so I was looking for a tutorial on iframes and found the one on this site but cant seem to figure out how to access it to read it.

In my experience, i haven't been able to have the iframe show up when i'm in the edit view either. I don't beleive that it is possible to make it show up, as dreamweaver isn't actually a browser that is running the script. So, what i do is just have the main page open and also the Iframe page open.
The tutorials here can be a little tricky as a lotl of them have to be paid for. Can you post the link to the tutorial that you found?
