how would I create a rollover so when a user rolls over a link and in a different place on the site another text area appears.

Check this site out, there are DW extensions for about anything you want. I'd try LAYER ANIMAGIC first, it's free. www.projectseven.com/extensions/index.htm

Use the swap image option found under the behaviors window. You need to give all of your pictures a name so you know which one you'll be linking it to. First, select the picture you want to have an effect when you rollover, if you don't want this one to change, you could probably just swap it with the same picture your using. Then in the swap image window, select the picture you want to actually change. Hit browse and pick the new picture. Get it?
