how do i get the _blank target window html page to be the exact size of the swf movie it is holding and not have scroll bars or browser nav?

you use the Open Browser Window behaviour. You can set the size of the window and the attributes there.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it and it works except that DW insists that I also specify a link in the property inspector and this then makes two windows come up at the same time. Make sense?
