I've been working on website for a while now. I have about 20 pages. Today I tried creating a new page based on my template. After I create the file I add content inside the editable region but when I try to save it I get the message...

"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template of a translator. The change will be discarded."

Why does this happen? I'm sure the code I'm adding is inside the editable region.

Now I found out that if I try to change any of my already existing pages in their editable region I get the same message. What's going on?

I think may have it started ever since I made a change to a library item at the bottom of the template page below the editable region.

Any idea why this is happening?

I found out that when I make changes in design mode I don't get the error message. I only get it when I make changes in code view.
