I'm trying to upload someone's show reel on the website but it doesn't seem to be working... firstly...1. What should I save it off as in Adobe Premiere?
2. Do I then link and upload it as I would any other .pdf, .jpg, .gif file or do I need to do something different to make it work as a Windows Media File, or Quicktime etc.. whatever, the most common format is...
This is the link to how it's working at the moment...
www.maxdigital.com.au/home.htm
it seems to load up a white screen, downloads for 4 minutes or so before a media player window opens..
How I want it to work is something like this one:
www.aimsmedia.com/reel.html
Thanks for your help.

I beleive that that is the way that Windows media player opens. If you were to save the file as a .mov for quicktime, then I think that it would open a new page but the movie would then play within that page.
As for the best compression, well seem to remember that most of the movie clips on the net are .mpeg or .mov. So< I would only assume that one of those would be lower than what it is now (10megs).
Just play around and save a few different file types and then see which one is smallest in size but at the same time, didnt loose very much quality.
