In ASP with SQL DB

I can create a form which pulls back results, but what I can't figure out how to do is to add a UPDATE and DELETE button and have the form do what the button says.

i.e. Employee database...SHow the employee details and I can change them then hit update or I can just delete them?

Any clue?
