Hi,
I am hoping someone will be able to help me as I'm not sure how to approach this. I work for a musical instrument wholesaler and am in charge of our website. What I've been asked to do is produce an order form where people can tick the boxes of the brands they want, click a button and we recieve the order. I know that I could do this by creating a simple form with radio buttons or tick boxes etc. but that only collates the info in a database. I need something that will alert us as soon as the order is completed. The simplest way to do this I assume is to build a shopping cart function, we aren't interested in the paying by card bit as all our customers have accounts and only they will be able to access the order form. Is this the right way to approach this? If so which software is the best for creating online shops etc.? Is there a different way to approach this?
I hope someone can help.
Kirsty.

Sorry I forgot that bit, I currently use Ultradev 4 as most things on the site are database driven I know some ASP and some SQL as well (without Ultradev's help) but only really the basics. Oh, and obviously HTML. However I am prepared to learn whatever I need.

You could use the Smart Mailer extension to mail the form and use ASP to create variables and pash the variables.
The Smart Mailer comes with tutorials to walk you through the steps.
