My hard drive crashed and burned. I am using another machine and trying to reconnect to my SQL server. I copied my files from my web server to my local machine. I am able to ftp back and forth from my local machine to the web server through Dreamweaver. I am using a DNSLess connection which has worked great. I was able to reconnect Enterprise Manager from my local machine to my SQL server and reconnect to an Access Project. Now when I click on “Binding” then the recordset I get “Unable to retrieve tables from this connection, etc.”. I go through the define, edit my connection then click test. I then get this message “HTTP Error Code 403 Forbidden.” Nothing has changed on the SQL sever only on my local machine. I’ve changed the IP address, machine name, everything I can think of to make it like my old machine. Any help would be appreciated. I have been going around and around in circles trying to figure this out.
