I'm building a site where just the top table of the site, with logo and navigation graphics, was built in Fireworks, using the ability to create drop-down menus.

The site itself has only the home page on the top level, and all the subsections in subdirectories.

I created a nested template for each sub area, as each has it's own subnavigation along the side.

The problem is that if there needs to be any changes to the top nav, I can update a single html page, but I can't update the templates, so I'm facing this nightmare of how to easily update the rest of the site if there's, say, a new item added to the drop-down menu in Fireworks.

Am I missing something or is there an elegant solution to this problem?
