im tryin to insert a picture as the backgorund and make it transparent but when i place it there, it doesn't show up in the preview, when i press F12, how do i make it visible?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do here. tracing images are for you to see like a layout plan when you put real stuff into your page so you can follow your tracing image as a guide for positioning. It is not going to show up in a F12 browser preview...it's there for you to see only. When you put it there you can adjust it to a degree of transparency so when it's faded back you can tell your real page elements from the guide. I don't know if this begins to answer your question, as I'm a little lost as to your "wanting a transparent(invisible) image ot be visible" Or am I misunderstanding your intent?
