I wanted to share this info from Macromedia.

I heard a rumor that Macromedia was releasing a new MMCP test for Dreamweaver 2004...so I wrote them, and here is their response:

Hi David,

The new Dreamweaver exam- Dreamweaver MX 2004 will be published on Nov 18th. The current Dreamweaver exam will be retired next year but we will continue to list all certified Dreamweaver MX developers until the end of 2004- current Certified Dreamweaver MX Devleopers will not be grandfathered to the new certification.

We will be producing study materials for the new exam such as a study guide and possibly a practice test shortly after the new exam is published. I would recommend waiting until the new exam is published and holding off on the taking the current Dreamweaver exam.

Those certified in Dreamweaver MX will not lose their certification, but will no longer be listed on our website at the end of 2004. Certifications in Dreamweaver MX will still be valid after this date.
