Would anyone know how would I be able to design text windows like the ones used in the home page of this website? can it be done using dreamweaver, or do I have to use a third party software

What exactly do you mean? Save the page and look at the source, if I am thinking what U R thinking u can use tables or images.

I was talking about the tables, I mangaed to design them using fireworks then exporting the images to dreamweaver. Is there any other way to do this?
