Hi

Is it possible to make the body of a page editable if that page is created from a template?
I have many pages created from a template but certain things on the pages are different and some require code in the body of the page and of course you cannot do this unless you detach the page from the template which sort of defeats the object of having the template in the first place.
hope this makes sense.

Not sure what U mean... any section that is set as editable in the template should be editable in all child pages...

Hi

Yes i could make the entire body tag editable in my template but that just seems pointless.
It strikes me that the way you make templates in DW is the wrong way round it would be far better if the template made everything editable and then you selected which bits to lock rather than have none editable and select which bits to make editable.
I have pages made up of many tables, basically the left nav table is locked and two other tables (center and right) are editable.
If I then go to a page created with this template and add a form to the center table, everything is fine but when i need to add form validations to the page I need to select the body tag to add them but I can't do this without detaching from the template.
Hope that explains it better.
