I am trying to send a "picture" of the webpages that I am building to someone as an attachment. The number of images, etc is large and it would be a hassle to attach everything to an email, etc. Is there an easier way to do it? I tried ctrl+printscreen, but it will only take a picture of part of the page, not the whole thing. Thanks!

Yep- generally I'd just post proofs of the pages themselves and send the URL to the client/third party.

If you can't view the entire page on screen in a single browser window, then no- you won't be able to show the whole design in a screen capture unless you take two - one scrolled all the way to the top of the page, another scrolled all the way to the bottom, and then 'connect' them into a single image in Fireworks/Photoshop/etc.

Is there any particular reason why a URL to the pages won't work (I'm assuming the other person has internet access, as you're sending them email)?

The reason I can't send them a URL ( I think) is because its not up on the internet yet. Im just building it in Dreamweaver and havent uploaded it or anything. Im not sure what you mean by a "proof". I tried to use the free webhosting at Bravenet, but with all the images, pages, etc there wasnt enough room for everything to be uploaded

If it were me, I would set the Editreferences in DW to Siteependent Filesrompt on Put. Then you can send the page you are working on to the server and only the images you use on the page will go with it. If you don't have enough space on Bravenet then I have to wonder how long will the page take to download. Is it that large? Anyway, once the page is on the server, you only have to send the URL for it to your client. Since the page is not linked to anything, no else will be able to get it except for the person with whom you've shared the secret URL for where the page is located. I would send as many as I could and once those are approved, take them down and send the rest. Kind of convoluted but doable.

I may look like I'm doing nothing but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy.

Just Type ALT+PRINT SCREEN, this will take a snapshow of the active window. Just Try it!

Luck!

Nope,

Just takes the screen you see.... how can you take a screenshot of the actual web page, even if it's longer than the screen, omly way I have found is to do seperate ones and join them up in Photoshop
