i know how to create forms and get them validated and the information sent back to email addresses.

I need each entry into the form to be automatically given a unique number or code i.e. starting fro 0001. How do i do this?
the information also needs to be sent with the form, so i'm thinking i need to link some code into one of the fields.

Any help please!

Hmmm,

So is the number unique for EVERY element on EVERY form, or just unique per form?

Unique Number is needed for each entry and submit of the form, i.e. when the form loads up the number should allready be there.

The numbers should also go in sequence.
