Using Dreamweaver MX w/ Fireworks MX. I have 2 measly pop up menus in my site, and this is adding 30K to each page! What's the deal? Could you be kind enough to help a desperate newbie?

Sure,

What would you like? try optimising the size of the files through Flash.Photoshop

Janusz,

thanks for responding, but it's the javascript behavior adding 30K, not images or anything else. The mm_menu.js file itself is 30K, and since each page references it, I am getting webpages of about 60K w/ download speeds of 10sec on 56K. Eeeek! Or am I not getting your advice?

Gotcha,

Maybe you can get rid of all the comments and reducing the name of certain functions... I'll have a look around.
