This is a general question to Dreamwaver/MX users, I have recently encountered a major problem when connecting to a DSN. (Both Dreamwaver/MX are not usable at this time except on static pages) When I try to establish a Recordset I get the following error. “While executing onLoad in ServerBeh4_SimpleRS.htm the following Java Script error occurred”. Click ok next, window appears with another message. “At line 702 of file f:\macromedia\dreamweaver MX\configuration\commands\ serverbeh4_SimpleRS.js exception thrown in a native function”. At this pint the program freezes up. I have contacted Macromedia last week in regards to this but no response as of yet.
I have been running Dreamweaver 4 for years, upgraded to MX about 6 months ago. The system ran fine until about 3 weeks ago. No new programs installed. I have Dreamweaver 4 /Mx installed on a laptop and it function with no problem.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled 3 time and still have the problem.

Isn't it because Dreamweaver is installed in F drive...?

could be an extension problem.
sometimes extensions give me errors like that, until i find the bugger that caused it, once removed DW is back to normal.
Could also be you have installed/reinstalled with an anti-virus program running, which can screw the configuration up.

Dave
