Hi!I have to ask what FTP-program people use to show hidden files on the site?
I have FileZilla that show hidden files without any fuzz.. Just great program in that respect!
But DW-MX and the FTP used in the "Site" menu gives me problem..
If I click on "Site files" and I get my site in the "Files"-Window I have problem to see the hidden files on my site. Clicking "View" I can see "Show Files Marked as Hidden" but it is gray-out.. I can not choose it unless I go into a complicated maneuver in setting things.
If I read the Help (F1 hidden files) it say:
"To hide a file using the site map, you must mark the file as hidden. When you hide a file, its links are also hidden. When you display a file marked as hidden, the icon and its links are visible in the site map, but the names appear in italics.
Note: By default, dependent files are already hidden."
Where can I alter this "default" and make them visible?
Why make a program to be that user-unfriendly like this inbuilt FTP?
In FileZilla I can just go to the menu and choose show or hide and no fuzz
So what FTP is like FileZilla that easy to change option hide/unhide.
Rgds.

Hmm..
The "Show Files Marked as Hidden" option is only effective within Site Map. If it's grayed out, you are looking at Site Files.

Yes that is right Noz.. and I do not like it.. Why can't the inbuilt FTP act like FileZilla to show hidden files just by choosing the option in the Meny.
OK thanks for reply and good luck
