hiI have my ASP page charset set to GB2312, but it still show me garbage. I have to manually go to View menu, Encoding and select GB2312 to read chinese characters.
How do I have my ASP page to automatically to show chinese characters, so that i do not need to manually have to go to View menu to adjust it?
Thanks

Do you have < %response.Charset=" <i>charset of your choice</i>"% > in your ASP page to set charset for the page? Or do you just specify charset in header?

I do specify the charset=GB2312 in the header, but it didn't work. BTW, if i were to use <%response.charset="GB2312"%> where should i place this code?

If it's at the top, that is the first thing to be processed, so I would say to specify it at the top of the page.. Does it work?
