I am getting a horrible error in Dreamweaver MX 2004. When I hit the + in the application box, under the server behaviour tab and try to setup a recordset:

It seems to be a program error that has to do with dreamweaver attempting to carry out a command using a javascript section of the program.... and after this message pops up my whole dreamweaver freezes... No good.... I really need the database connectivity... Thanks for any help you can give.

i get errors like that when i install certain extensions.

try a fresh install with no extensions then install them one by one seeing which one causes you the error / if any.

just a thought.

MM also says, and they dont tell you up front, that the program will install with your virus protection running. If you do, sometimes you get the error message posted. I did. After I re-installed with a disabled virus protection, it seemed to solve the problem. Why dont they write their install feature to look for virus protection and provide a warning. They seem to be able to write the install to help them to help them find illegal users of software... lol
