Hi, I have been trying to upload my site to the internet. Everything seems fine when I test it on my computer. However, nobody else can see any of my templates. I have uploaded all my files including my template files. what am I doing wrong?

Dreamweaver template files have .dwt extension which is not normally recognized by web servers. I think you yourself actually cannot access to your template file on your site by {domain_name}/templates/{your_template_file}.dwt

If you have seen the template working perfectly on your machine, you probably accessed it by file path in a browser. For example:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\generalTest\Templates\TMP99q54p94z1.htm

Or if you have checked it on local web server, that'll display your template pefectly as well, for the extension has already been registered on your system.

As long as your templates are applied to other files and those files created from templates are displayed fine, I'd say, don't worry about your friends not being able to directly see templates. Or, is there a particular reason why other people has to see your templates?

Thanks Noz but I think I didnt explain myself properly. When I have applied my template to the web pages they are not showing up only the stuff I have put in the editable regions show up in the browser.

Sounds like you haven't uploaded the dependant files for the pages created by the templates.
If you are using DW to upload your pages, it usually brings up a dialogue box asking if you want to include dependant files - click yes.
