We handle very large files. I have everything working except when I try to upload anything above 64mb, I get an immediate "The page cannot be displayed" "Cannot find server or DNS error".
I have found all kind of articles about large files so I'll go ahead and let you know a few things:
- It is a Windows 2000 server with IIS5
- I set the timeout in the extension and on the server to 10800.
- I changed the Refresh Meta tag on the page to content="60000"
- I have not had any problems at all with files up to 64mb.
- The issue even occurs when the 64mb size is reached by two combined files being uploaded at the same time.
- I even tried to purposely set the upload size limit to 80mb.

Nothing above has helped. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I take it that noone has an answer.

- Is this a know issue?
- Can anyone else upload files that large?

Somebody give me some feedback to work with. If it's my server, I at least need to know.

It should be possible to upload larger files on a windows 2000 server, lot of users did successful upload files over 100Mb. Checking the settings it all looks ok to me, should be maybe a server setting
