Need help viewing files/folders on intranet!!!
16 Dec 2003 13:01:42 A B posted:
We have created a company intranet and wish to be able to load a pagewith a
directory tree of what is on a certain mapped drive.
The user should hopefully then be able to explore through these folders
in
order to select the relevent file they need and display it. Something
alike
your "Tutorials" section layout,
"www.dmxzone.com/categories.asp?TypeId=2".
Any help please?

Hi,
Not sure how to get EXACTLY what you want i.e. different folders showing their links on the same page. However, I can do a sort-of windows view so that you have a page in the root and they can then naviagte to each particular section... similar, very similar, but not exact.
Is this ok?

AllowExt = "all"
change it to:
AllowExt = "txt"
you can also add more file ext to it like so:
AllowExt = "txt, mp3, wav"
it will the only show them files
I shall upload the file to: janusz.co.uk/files/scripts/asp/file_structure.zip
BTW: Works on IIS/ASP enabled servers!
