Can someone give me the idiot's guide to creating restricted pages, with logins & passwords required, in DW MX? Thanks!

the program comes with a ton of tutorials and help files to cover this, and quite easy to follow too <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

failing that and you want a hands on tutorial, do a search on google for "dreamweaver tutorials" and you'll be surprised at the results.

Thanks for your reply, but I guess I'm confused. I went through the tutorial, but it said to click the '+' in the server behaviors window. The x is greyed out and cannot be clicked. I tried to go through the setup process"to use dynamic data on this page", but I cant get past step three, setting up the site's testing server. I entered the info for the root folder for the site, but aparently that wasnt the right thing to enter. Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you got a server running on your system? If so, point it to the root of your server. If you get stuck with this then look for a tutorial on how to connect it all up before you go into page restriction.
