Hi,

Has anyone got the book <i>Dreamweaver MX: PHP Web Development</i>. I’m looking for a book to help me start building dynamic site with PHP, and was wondering if this is the book for me.

I know how to build dynamic sites with DWMX and ASP, but I want to try PHP. I have no knowledge of PHP but I'm proficient with Dreamweaver MX.

I’d like to hear your opinions on the book or any recommendations.

I wouldn't get a book for now, but go through stuff on w3 school website and have a dip into it... then ask in PHP forums as they'll know the best resources...

I've got it, and used it too. It is a great book, with practical examples + code at their site, and all of the content is very usefull. I recomend you to buy also , together the Dreamweaver MX : Advanced PHP Development. Read the one after the other and you will see that you will allready no lots of many things about dreamweaver and php model.
But it is mostly ONLY for Dreamweaver MX use , and no other program. (You may use it with Dreamweaver MX 2004 - it doesn't have the differences but you can use it.
