When I update custom made library elements (like navigation bars for different site sections) in pages that have been created using site templates, the update of each page takes approximately 1 minute!! Now imagine a site with 200 pages, it means I have to wait hours to get my library elements updated in all the pages.

However, updating the pages with changes made in the templates themselves is quickly done. Only updating the library elements takes such a long time.

Has anybody here made a similar experience or can anybody help me with this issue?
Any help or hint is greatly appreciated!
