Hello. AgainI was wondering if any one could give me a little direction on implementing the paypal extentions for dreamweaver into my web site. I will eventually have almost 100 products. And I need and alternative to display the add to cart button or single purchase button. As opposed to how they instruct through a video tutorial at www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/product_resources/ecommerce/ which shows you how to enter a the paypal extension but adding it to one item or product at a time whether it is the add to cart function or the single purchase item button.
From what I understand how this works is the user of the site would either choose a single purchase or add to cart button from the coressponding item. The information would then be passed to the paypal site.
My goal is to have it so that when a user would view products. The following information would be displayed. Product Name, Product Description, Product Price, And the Paypal add to cart or single purchase button.
Question. I am pulling the following information from a mysql database Product name, Product Description, Product Price. What I dont understand is how to add the paypal add to cart or single purchase funtion to each product with out doing it manually as shown at the macromedia web site www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/product_resources/ecommerce/ And once the add to cart or single purchase is completed how will it know to pass the correct product information to the paypal site for a transaction. I have and example from a web site of exactly would I would like to do at sharkbones.com (Under the t-shirts link) minus the sort by color field, t-shirt size etc. I just want to implement the paypal add to cart or single purchase button to each item or product I have, and once the button is clicked it passes the correct item information "product name, product description and price" onto paypal server for a transaction. I dont know if I am on the correct path by giving each product and ID number. But if that thought (to give each product and ID number inside a field in the database) is correct where would I enter this code to make it work with the paypal link information . Considering I want to use the paypal dreamweaver extensions.
Would be great if anyone could share thier experiences if they have chosen to use the paypal extension's for dreamweaver. Or even Paypal in General
Any Help Greatly Apreciated

You should check out www.webassist.com. They have a full native shopping cart solution (WA eCart) for Dreamweaver. It works with all the major databases. It is well done and well supported with their online forum. It is very affordable to at $129. WebAssist is also the company that created the payPal integration (free extension) - so they are probably the best folks to check out for what you are tryin gto do.
