No this isn't a medical condition - at least, not yet..I'm currently using Studio MX on a new Apple G5 running OSX 10.3 (It's been upgraded a couple through 10.3.1 & 3.2). The Mac holds the complete development and test enviroment, Apache, mySQL & PHP 4; (that's one of the reasons why I bought it -- as well as it's uncrashable branding <ha!><img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
What I'm trying to gather is how many people are using Apple to develop on and how many people have issues with it..
For example
1. When creating and using records sets, it can be fine one minute, then when you go to add something, make a change or even bind it to an object on the page, Dreamweaver looses connection to the database and returns a 'No Tables' where your tables should be (or you get an MM:Error).
2. It forgets when testing a page that a CSS sheet is attached.
3. Performance is poor (opening documents - working with documents in Live View mode)
I have a few other 'features' of the software that I'm trying to work around - but am just looking for feedback. Apple deny any problems and blame it on Macromedia. Macromedia vice versa.
Should have stuck with a PC... <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
Post your feedback please.
