I am looking for the best way
(quickest and safest) to hide all the email addresses on my website from "Spam bots.
In particular I have tried the "Ultimailto" extension which changes text to hex, but I wondered if this was really good enough.
I have also tried using java scripts but these do not show when designing in dreamweaver ( only in browser view) which makes things hard.
So my questions are
1) how do I get the results of a client side java script to show in dreamweaver layout mode
2) Is simply changing Email address to Decimal or hex good enough to avoid Spam bots
3) Does anyone have a favourite quick and easy way to prevent the harvesting of Email addresses on their website.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark
An email submission form is the only surefire way of not having your email address harvested now or sometime in the future.
