I was told that MS Access is a not very good Dbase and I should use MySQL instead.
I can see a lot of combinations of PHP and MySQL around.
Is there anyone using ASP and MySQL would it be better than ASP and Access combo? Would it work at all?

If you don't ask the answer is always no.

I use both at the same time very often mixing asp, assess db and mysql.... nedver had problems. I must admit though I do prefer mysql as it's more versatile

Nothing wrong with using access but bare in mind the size of your project.

If the site is heavily used you would be better off with a more stable alternative like MySQL.

I was actually wondering is there anyone using MySql with ASP?
Understanding that MSSql is the obvious choice, but costs a lot of money. I'm exploring a relationship of ASP and MySql
Tons of sites use PHP+MySql combination, I guess both are free and it is a great reason to begin with.
But once again why not ASP+MySql ?
Is there a reason why this combination should not be used?

If you don't ask the answer is always no.
