I have installed Ultradev version 1 to a laptop running Win XP Pro Operating System. Everything seems to work OK until I try to connect my web pages to a database using a data source name. When I navigate 'Modify' - 'Connections' in Ultradev the program shuts down immediately. Have installed Ultradev to Win ME machine and found that the above does not occur. Any ideas on how to sort out the XP problem?

xp runs on a totally different file structure to ME, so old software may not function correctly on it. I got a lot of games that dont work now :/

only thing i know to do is right click the program icon, choose "compatability" and check top box "Run this program in compatibility mode for ... win 98/ME" and see if that works

I assume the "file structure" UltraDav is referring to is NTFS (versus FAT32), but even that's not a given: I've seen XP installs that defaulted to FAT32, some from the factory. This may not be the problem. With me, I'm using Windows 2000 and getting this same crash (so, compatibility mode is not an option I can try). I've gone over the checkpoints I posted in the above thread (see link), but still have the problem.

Suggestions, anyone? They'd be most appreciated.
