can anybody help me out on dreamweaver. I have created one login page. My problem how can i send the login page information ( login and password parameter ) to the next page

when youve created the login form like you've done, open up the "server behaviours" panel, and selct "user Authentication" > "Log in user".

and DW does it for you.

I can't go further as you didn't state what language, database you were using etc...

What it actually does is sends a session variable MM_username and MM_password
What you need to do is set up a search page then set up a recordset using simple. Now under filter use the field that you sill search from. Then select seesions in the dropdown box below that. And now type in MM_username this should then do it. If you need any more help macromedials website has alot of answers. What I do is type in their main search box with my question and usually I get there tech FAQ's

and a session login is a choice not a fact.
