Selected option in dynamic menu

I have a dynamic menu in PHP in MX2004 that I would like to have the first option as a "selected" option like ---Select one---. I have tried adding in the static option, but it doesn't make it the selected option. Any ideas? Replies

After looking at the code, all the options are selected.....weird....
