Im New, please help me

hi, im new to dreamweaver and im having 1 fundermental problem at the momenti cant make any templates that have frames in them, is there a way to do this or am i just being dumb?

If you're new to Dreamweaver you might as well think about avoiding the use of frames. I've been designing webpages for many years and I quit using them
early on. They caused to many problems. They make easy separation on the page, but tables do the same thing and they are much easier to work with.
You should also check out the use of CSS.
Take a trip to www.w3schools.com. They might give you some answers regarding your problem about the frames.

I will give you the answer if you promise not to use frames. You can do alot bett with css and it looks nice.
get the frame set file and move it to the templates folder and change the file ext to .dwt instead of .htm a little tricky to do but it will work

Thanx people. ive done the basic page outline now and using it as a template, ive used tables and page properties to get the look i want
