Hey guys,

I need some help with a little project i have. here's the deal I've made this extension for dreamweaver that basically allows anyone to type in the document name and select the # of subsections there are in the document with their respective titles.

the extension would then generate Html code and structure a table to conform to a standard layout.

The subsections are all named with the div id tag with unique IDs.

The problem for me now is to create another script in an extension for DreamWeaver that would read through the current document opened in DreamWeaver and pick out the subsection as specified, then delete, replace or add something just before that section.

Is there any code I can use to achieve this?

PLEASE help me.
