how can i control the size of the window that opens up in a given browser?
I did a search here, is advanced open window 3 the only way to do this.
I what to have the index/homepage open in a small window with no address bar. then the site pages open in standard size windows.

Its actually called "Open Browser Window". It opens a javascript popup window. You can set the size, window options, center it, etc.

you guys have got me very confused.

Im looking to have the index page open in a browser in specific size.

If someone could walk me through this that would be great.

Once the pages are posted,
www.thepage.com
I want that page to open to a specific size. (the index page.) not a page once in the pages.

LOL, i was just making up words and it was actually a site.

my site is www.staticproductions.com

I looking to redo my index page(main page) making it open into a 300x500 popup type page. then all the links on that page open up a reg. browser window.

I use sonar3.
I currently produce at home. I use just a midi keyboard controller and a computer with co processors and two monitors. I have a huge collection of vsti's and dxi's and alot of effects
Anyway read the help section in dreamweaver to better explain the behaviours.
Now as for doing what you want why not keep your navigation on everypage so users can move freely around your site. Also alot of pop up blockers will make it where they wont see that page.
I never seen where the first page you can control like the way you want to.
