Using DWMX 6.0 I've defined a local site and successfully got it ftping to the remote site.
It's set up as aspvbscript as I have a mysql db/dns I'm trying to connect to.
It seems to have set up the correct Connection and _mmServerScript files, but the _mmServerScript folder doesn't show in the DW Site Files Map (neither local nor remote). Refreshing obviously doesn't work.
I can see the folders there on my HD and on my host server using Transmit, so this is a DW issue I think.
I also think this is why when I try to set up the dns connection to the db that I get a "No testing server on server machine" error.

I've been dancing with this all week and would really appreciate some input.
Thanks.

They are always hidden within DMX. You do not need to do anything manually with them. I've never touched them before. It sounds like you merely have to define the test server via the Application panel.
