I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. Ever since I installed the 7.0.1 updater, I've had nothing but problems with DW creating buggy asp code.

For example, I just tried to add a "Insert Record" behavior. It was a very simple form and a simple insert. As soon as I clicked "OK" to create the behavior, it appeared in the server behaviors list with a red exclamation mark. I discovered that it had renamed the form, added several unexplained quotation marks, and changed the form method to Get. It probably would have taken far less time to manually code the insert than to do all the debugging required. Finally, after removing a bunch of extraneous quote marks, >'s, etc. I finally got an Insert Record behavior without a red exclamation mark.

Another example: I created a recordset. Opened the recordset to make a slight change. As soon as I clicked "OK," I got that nasty red exclamation mark. Finally figured out it had created an extra recordset close. At one point, I had a recordset with SIX identical closes.

I could go on and on. Anyone else having problems? Any suggestions? I'm thinking about completely uninstalling and starting over. I don't think I'll do the 7.0.1 update, though.

If I do decide to completely uninstall, is there a way to preserve my site definitions and basic preferences?

the same problem for me. Have been struglling for days &@^%@&^%$@*&^$@ with one simple page for a client now! Even reinstalled DMX, but as i wasn't aware of the fact it could be related to the update (Which in hindsight make sense i guess) I faithfully installed the update.

just a simple example: (My original form was called "form1<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Grrrrrr! Very annoying behaviour! Does anyone know a way to uninstall the update?
