I'm using DW MX and I've been having the same problem everytime I set up CSS Styles for my pages. After defining the fonts and sizes I apply them to the text, cell etc and they are 3 - 4 times the size in Dreamweaver even though they preview correctly. It's annonying since I have no idea how to tell if my content is taking up too little or too much room without constantly previewing the page.

Is there a fix for this or a setting I'm overlooking?

There is a setting that allows you to view included content in the design view (that is to say that the css styles will be visible).

In dreamweaver, click on the Edit menu option then Preferences.

Click on the Invisible Elements option and ensure that the Show contents of included file is checked.

Otherwise, dreamweaver uses some default settings, hence why your H1 etc looks oversized.

this is not a bug or problem i have seen.

i suggest going into Edit > Preferences > Fonts and check the size settings in there.

also try www.macromedia.com/support/ and look through the tech note index to see if it is a known bug.

Are these inline styles (coded in the page) or are they in a linked style sheet .css file

I'd also suggest posting your css code up and letting us overlook it.

Dave
