HI me again, with a slightly different problem.
As i can force each viewer to view my site with the font i desire, i there a way of asking it to use another font, say Helv/arial as a substitution as currently it defaults to Comic Sans on some computers.

many thanks
Ollie

comic sans? hmmm

it may be defaulting to that with the font belonging to the "sans" family.

when choosing a font, always select a family instead of a single font face.

ie: font-family: Verdana, Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

so in the example, if Verdana is not present on the machine, it will try Geneva, if that isnt there, it will try Arial, and then default to sans-serif if none of them are available

Dave
