I have a datagrid in an editable region on my page. It works fine. The problem is I am trying to add a button to it.

The instructions say to double click the datagrid in the server behaviors panel. When I do that I get my datagrid window that allows me to add to the grid. I push the "+" to add a field and make it a "edit, update and cancel" button. It adds fine. When I press the OK button, I get an error message:

Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded.

What is causing this problem?

I found out that I can make the changes when I create the datagrid, but after I have created it, I cannot go back to edit it (which I should be able to do).

You may find that the sisted site of DMXzone (www.dnzone.com) which is dedicated to .net may get you better responses.

Most of the users here at DMXzone use dreamweaver for asp and php sites.
