Hi DMX Zone...I have an interesting issue that I'l like some help with if possible...
I have created a web site where users will have authorisation to various pages over an above non members... I have also added a page for the administrator (me) to be able to change details in various db's.
No problem I thought.. Just use Access levels on the admin bit... Here's the setup...
All was setup using DMX2004 and Access Databases... I have one database called members and another called adminaccess. The members database holds information on all my members (and doesn't use access levels). The adminaccess database holds one userid and one password for the administrator (this has an access level of 'level3').
All seems to work correctly as expected except for one thing...
If I log on as a normal member (members db) and then manually change the link to one of my administration page (adminaccess db) it loads even thought I've specified using Restrict Access to Page (level3) it still lets me in...
Do I need to add accesslevels to my members db?
Hope you can help
Thanks
