Does anyone have a work around for the built in Login Script for MX 2004?If I select a static page for the succeed redirect it works, but if I select a db field it gives me the following error. I've tried removing the double quotes and still does not work.
Help?
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'
Expected end of statement
/forms/apply_now.asp, line 24
MM_redirectLoginSuccess="(RS_user.Fields.Item("user_last_page"
-----------------------------------------------^

The problem is the quotes, this is odd if MX built this line (but then sometimes MX is odd).
Try the following to see if it works:
<%
Dim strLastPage
strLastPage = (RS_user.Fields.Item("user_last_page"
.Value)
MM_redirectLoginSuccess= strLastPage
%>

Vince,
Thanks for the help. I finally found a tech note on Macromedias site and yes, it's weird that MX 2004 would make that mistake.
This is the tip which was written for Ultradev and I guess never corrected:

Dave,
Thanks for going the extra distance and finding that extension for me, but it does not work, I tried it yesterday.
I was so happy when I found it only to realize it was a dud.
Thanks,
Mitch
