unwanted image border when inserted into form

When inserting a dynamic image field into a form, I get an unwanted whitish shadow border at the base & right hand side of the image when viewed within the browser.

I've tried setting border properties of the image to 0 - but to no avail.

When I try inserting an unlinked image into exactly the same table cell - I get no border.

To complicate things even more, all images are jpegs, but out of 30, 2 of them don't have the border when inserted using linked mode. This inconsistency is a bit worrying (I'm using DW2004MX without any updates applied).

Can anyone help explain this to me?

Regards, Alex

No, I'm afraid I don't yet have a URL, as it's not yet published -but I can send some of the code etc. if you think that'll help.

Just got the answer from another forum. It was all my fault! The images had the borders built in.

Although I initially checked for this using PainshopPro(v7), the borders didn't show up & were somehow masked. The solution of course, is simply to crop out the borders within a graphics package.

Sorry about the false alarm.
