I’ve just finished an ASP site with 3 main sections, urban, funky house and oldskool. Each of these sections has 2 sub-sections, news and reviews.

At the minute I have each of the main section in 3 separate tables in the Access DB, with fields such as section, subsection etc.

To get the information into the tables I have 3 admin pages that put the data into the relevant pages.

On the main site I have four pages for each section eg. Urban has a news main page that links to a detail page, and the same for the review section.

What I want to do is combine the 3 tables into 1, which I don’t have a problem with, but I also want to have 1 main page and 1 detail page that can be used for all the section.

So if a user click on the urban news section it takes them to a main page with all the relevant stories listed. If the user clicks on oldskool reviews section it takes them to the same main page but with all the oldskool reviews listed.

Hope it makes sense and that someone can tell me how to go about this.

I know it’s a funny time to change things but it will help me in the future.
