Keep my configuration folder

I have to reinstall my operating system o my computer and i want keep my configuration folder as it is today (MX). So i dont have to reinstall all the great extensions i have. But i dont know how to do it. I know, it sounds super simple to you guys...but i am not so bright. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
can some one please give me some hints about this?

you can create back-ups of your configuration folder to store on disk, then when you've formatted and re-installed you can overwrite the default folders.

this will keep certain things for you, although i wouldnt expect it to keep your extensions 100%, but i've never done it so i wouldnt know <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

make sure to make a copy of the folder (again) before you overwrite it with your old one, if anything screws up, simply replace it and all will be well.

the config folder can be found at

C: &gt; Program Files &gt; Macromedia &gt; Dreamweaver &gt; Configuration.
