Dreamweaver MX 6.1 Crashes with a fatal exception error and removes ALMOST all of the websites in the site dropdown. This has happened several times in the past, and I would just have to re-add the sites to dreamweaver. However now when I try to add a new site dreamweaver just completely shuts off, and closes the program by itself. If any one can help me add a new site to dreamweaver and/or resolve this issue it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. I have been using dreamweaver for 4 years.Replies

uninstall it
get a registry editor and remove all entries related to macromedia
re-install it
that will probably fix your problems tho it's not gauranteed, but a lot of these problems stem from the registry becoming cluttered with bad data.
if you have never messed in the registry before you may be wiser backing up your stuff and formatting to wipe it, as mistakes in there can jeapordise your operating system.

Dave
