I want to set List/Menu or Combo Box Option field with User ID and Password Field on the Login Page.

Actually I have the Monthwise Data and I want to restrict my members to access on every month data.

Example: If a member Only need JAN2004 Data, and he logged in with their Username and Passwords so he/she should be allowed only JAN2004 Data and If he/she select any other Month Data Instead of JAN2004 Data and try to logged in, then the messege should be appear that "You are not allowed for this month Data".

Month Field/List Menu: JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JUL..etc etc
User ID: USER NAME
PASSWORD: PASSWORD.

I think Guys will understand what i want to do and what i need.

I am very much hopefull that the Experts of this Great Forum will help me.

Why not offer the Combo box after they've successfully logged in and filter that list so that only valid choices for that user will be shown?

How are you tracking which accounts have access rights to which months data?

Actualy this a big problem for me....I still could not decided that what step i should take to do it...I m confused and i have to do it very urgently.

I m trying to simplify again that what i want to do or what i need..........Basically i have the Monthly Data for the members....some members need 2 month data, some need 1 month, some need 3 month.etc...suppose If a member tell us that he need June2004 Data and other member tell me that he need May2004 Data...so thats the basic thing that i want to stay or restrict or protect member to view their desired month data.

For this purpose i want to take control in my hand to protect or unprotect member towards the Monthly Data.

Still i m helpless no one is helping me...or giving me any Tutorial or tips or examples.

Please help me if you can........I would be very much thankful to you.

So you want all users to be able to see the list of data for all months and then make a request to be allowed access.

the help file that comes with dmx is very good for explaining how to create logins and restrict access to pages.

but in order to grant permission to monthly data you will need to create management 'console' that will let you select the user and give them rights.
That could be done by building a search to find the user, with a detail page showing what months they have access to and tickboxes to set those permisssions.

That would mean you would need some structure in your database to store the relationships, which accounts have rights to which months.
