Hi, I'm a Newbie to DW. I'm one of the one's that have come from Golive. How would you set up a site to test locally on XP using IIS.
Looks to me as if there's a few options.
Would I make my site in my documents and create a path that copies the files to wwwroot to test locally.
or create the site allready in wwwroot and keep the same path to test.
Also how to delete folders within the site
thanks

I would make a development copy of your files in My Documents. Set up your testing server and then you can 'upload' your completed files to wwwroot to see how IIS handles things.
The advantage to this method over editing directly on the server (wwwroot) is that you would have a back up copy if you made some terrible mistake and needed to revert to a previous version.
On the Files panel group there is a button at the far right end Expand/Collapse - if you click that you'll get an 'ftp' interface that shows local and remote files... you can delete folders from the server in that fashion
