I'm trying to set up a "daily events" calendar with some shortcuts. Currently, I have it set up with three columns: One with a numerical value for the weekday, one with the event start date and one with the event end date.
I have certain events that occur weekly, (i.e. Mondays) so I use the "Weekday" column to display only on Mondays to save database space.

Occasionally, that event will be a bit different than other times (i.e., a special speaker). Is there a way to override the "common Monday" event with the "special Monday" record, without deleting the "common Monday" event?
